An impressive bespoke poured terrazzo floor and standard terrazzo tile installation at the flagship new commercial building One Embassy Gardens is a superb example of the larger-sized installations carried out by Diespeker’s specialist team.
The 12-storey building is central to the Embassy Gardens development in Nine Elms, which is being developed by Ballymore working with Stortford Interiors and its joinery division, Parkrose.
Diespeker’s contribution to this major project was a poured resin terrazzo floor for the spacious reception area. The installation required around 600 sqm in poured bespoke resin terrazzo, using a specially chosen colour background based on conglomerate CG034 with its mixture of grey, white, black and brown chunks and chippings offering a neutral finish.
In addition, Diespeker installed circa 400 sqm of oversized tiles (2000x1200x30mm) of our popular standard terrazzo TE007 which has similar tones to the poured floor.
The expansive reception area includes a feature reception desk and makes the most of height and light with stainless steel ceilings and inset lighting. The project was completed in late 2019 in challenging circumstances, that found our skilled installation team working up to the wire. The client was very pleased with the completed flooring.
Resin terrazzo flooring provides an attractive and durable solution to areas of heavier footfall, including receptions, and indoor concourses, with cement terrazzo suitable for exterior projects.
