Diespeker becomes Made in the South East Awards Finalist

Diespeker is proud to have been named as a finalist in the Made in the South East Awards 2022.

These awards recognise and reward those companies that have excelled in innovation, product development and growth in either domestic or overseas markets over the course of the last 12 months.

We are on the shortlist for the category Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m). This category is aimed at manufacturing companies which have demonstrated excellence and made an outstanding contribution to the manufacturing sector in the region.

During the qualifying period Diespeker has worked on many prestigious projects, manufacturing bespoke products for the V&A, Exchange House, Broadway and many more projects, expanding our premises with a new depot, continuing to push the boundaries of the materials we work with, and moving towards an increasingly sustainable business model.

Philip Cunliffe, Insider’s regional business editor who chaired the judging, said: “It’s been a very challenging couple of years for the sector and several issues continue to impact manufacturers of all sizes. But the sector has remained remarkably resilient and has performed well throughout the period.

“Many of the businesses on the shortlists have demonstrated exceptional qualities and we’re really excited to be able to showcase them at what I know will be another wonderful night of celebration of the manufacturing sector in the region.”

A huge shout out to everyone in the Diespeker family who has worked so hard over the past few years to help make our business such a massive success.

We will learn if we have been successful at the awards event on Thursday November 17, but whatever the outcome, we are thrilled to be amongst the finalists. All of the winners will automatically go through to compete in Insider’s national final event, the Made in the UK Awards, which is taking place in July 2023 in Liverpool.
