Diespeker MD John has been busy getting ready for the London Marathon on October 3rd, when he is running to raise funds for Holly Lodge Centre.
It all came about because of his football buddies in ‘The Sunday Club’, one of whom is a Trustee for Holly Lodge.
This is an exciting event for John as it’s his 180th marathon and his 10th time running in the London Marathon.
John last took part in the event in 2015, completing the 26 mile course in 03:08:52 and coming 2592 overall in a field of 37,581 runners. His most recent marathon was in Southampton earlier in September where he was joined by a team from Diespeker and agency Terra Ferma Media.
Holly Lodge Centre, a unique small charity located in the heart of Richmond Park. Holly Lodge runs educational programmes that explore science, nature and history, and specialises in activities for people with special needs.
It’s a fantastic facility, a magical place – and it needs our support to keep running.
