When Tara Breeze was looking for flooring for her Streatham Hill house refurb, she undertook loads of research into tiles and terrazzo – coming across Diespeker in the process.
Tara was drawn to TE108, a navy indigo blue resin terrazzo with white chunks, and white and yellow specks. Diespeker MD John Krause told her it was the first time a client has chosen this terrazzo design for the floor – but Tara had shown a good eye for a flooring finish, as her photos show.
She then designed and customised her kitchen cupboards, choosing a light blue to harmonise with the impactful floor design. The flooring complements Tara’s funky suite – which she reupholstered herself – and framed GCSE artwork adorning the walls.
The resin terrazzo tile floor was approx. 30m² and was installed by Tara’s builders, Deva Design & Build.
The kitchen is just one part of a major refurbishment of Tara’s ‘big beast of a house’! Refurbing her own home is a great start to Tara’s new career as an interior designer. We look forward to working with her on client projects in the future.
